I believe that communication should be private, secure, and free from third-party tracking. Yeenchat is run as an independent, privacy-focused project.
An email address is not required to register. Your security is your own. I will never ask for your password under any circumstances.
To route your messages successfully, my server temporarily sees your IP address when you connect. This connection data is strictly private, accessible only by me for server security and anti-spam purposes. I will never sell your data or share it with third parties, and I use zero tracking analytics.
Your connection to YeenChat is secured using standard TLS encryption, protecting your data from network snooping. I do not actively record, read, or otherwise log your messages. Even as the server administrator, I cannot read them.
Yeenchat is part of the decentralized XMPP
network. If you chat entirely with other users on yeenchat.org, your data never leaves my server. However,
if you add a friend on a different server (for example, user@jabber.org), your messages will travel to
their server to be delivered. Once a message leaves my server, it becomes subject to the privacy policy as well as the terms and conditions of the
receiving server.
